A nine year old boy, mind reeling with excitement as he prepares for his first real deer hunt.
Contemplating how that big monster buck will appear so magically into view. Thinking anxiously about all his gear, supplies, picturing over and over about how he zeroed his new rifle. Seeing the shot group in his mind. And as he packs his ammo in case with the new rifle, pondering if he has his long johns and big heavy coat in preparation for the bitter cold to come! The excitement building.
Adrenaline pumping in his veins a sadness enters his mind, Darn it, still 3 more days till we leave.
But onward he continues, heart pounding as he envisions his hunt, seeing his spot previously selected during their scouting. And now his consciousness comes to realize something is wrong. There is a noise in room with him, and a very irritating noise it is! Suddenly all his thoughts, visions vanish in irritation. His mind reeling to the discomforting noise he can no longer ignore as it gets louder, and louder. Anxiously he reaches over and turns off that darn alarm, Hmm, Time for me to get up. There’s deer out their and I must go now and be waiting for them to magically appear into my sight.
You take care, and happy safe hunting!
